Stephanie Osman

Growing up in the mid-west, the daughter of an artist and osteopathic physician, I was what some would call a tomboy. I loved to spend time in the woods, watching as the sun’s direction changed the patina on a magical oak or stone in the stream. I would dig for treasure in the old farm dump that flanked our property, revealing colored glass candy jar airplanes and fabulously rusty old metal pieces then drag them home to make into something or another.

Childhood vacations were spent traveling the country, camping and collecting unique antiques. When people would visit our home, my parents always had a story behind every piece of furniture, art and decor.

As a commercial designer, I have spent over ten years designing residential facilities for children who have been victimized by abuse. My job was to help children and families rewrite their story and to provide a space that held them not just physically, but spiritually. Working more recently with senior communities, my focus is on memory sensors; such as the comfort a familiar scent, sound, or object can convey.

My mission is to create an environment of healing and serenity with a dash of whimsy. And, whether you are a commercial or residential customer, it is your story that is to be shared. It is your vision that I will compliment with handpicked and created pieces.
