Batter up!! When asked what my favorite project is, Northcutt Residential is definitely an MVP. Northcutt is home to young boys, ages 5-13 that are victims of abuse. Even though their stay is only 4-6 months, a healing and comforting environment is the first thing they see when they walk through the door. Greeted with this baseball-themed lobby, the kids are lead on a tour, meandering through a glow in the dark hockey game room, a full-court basketball wall, touchdown football rumpus room, surfboard dining bar and so many more fun and unexpected surprises. These children deserve a psychological vacation. At the end of the tour, the administrator greets them with open arms and their journey of healing begins. That’s what it is all about.
